When it comes to cleaning exterior surfaces, there are a few main options to consider: pressure washing, power washing, and soft washing. Each of these options offers a variety of advantages and disadvantages, and we are happy to offer all three options as needed for our cleaning services.

To determine which method is ideal for each client, we begin each appointment by conducting a thorough inspection. Here’s what we look for to decide whether commercial power washing, pressure washing, or soft washing is right for your needs:
- Assess the durability of the surface material. Whether we choose commercial power washing or soft washing mainly depends on the durability of the surface material. If you need us to clean a more delicate surface material, like wood, vinyl, or shingles, we will choose the gentler cleaning approach of soft washing. If it’s a more durable material, like a parking lot, we will likely choose power washing instead.
- Consider the condition of the surface. In addition to assessing the durability of the surface materials of your exterior surface, we will also consider the condition of the surface. If you have a durable concrete walkway that needs to be cleaned but it’s older and crumbling in some spots, we may use soft washing instead of power washing to reduce any risk of additional damage.
- Review the surrounding landscape. If you have delicate flowers close by, we may choose soft washing because it uses a biodegradable cleaning solution that won’t harm the plant life.
